Pros

The company is innovative within the spirits industry and has found a way to help brands grow by bringing them data insights and taking the guesswork out of decision-making. This company is the epitome of work smarter not harder and I think everyone from our team embraces that mindset. On a personal development level it feels great to be surrounded by really smart and hard working colleagues that are constantly pushing themselves to learn and grow. I feel empowered to lead projects and make decisions, while also supported by my manager and peers to get feedback and insights.

Cons

So far so good, no cons from me!

Pros

Tickets to the Titanic’s maiden voyage.

Cons

To put it simply, Overproof lacks focus and fundamentally misunderstands the industry which it seeks to ‘problem-solve’ for. In precise terms, leadership and poor technical talent have grown the company into a bloated mass of un-marketable products and terribly written code. Which given the mission statement for the company, is quite sad as the platform only seems to create problems, rather than solve for them. At one point, the zeal for the company that senior members and leadership have could be seen as admirable. However, as the CEO continues to take to company down a more and more convoluted path, it is now erring on the side of cult-like devotion. Any and all who dissent or bring fresh ideas to the table will be met with a level of aggression that would make the hair on the back of any HR professional’s neck stand. But, said HR professional does not exist as the department was dissolved after the COO was dismissed for undisclosed misconduct. If you wish to get into the Bev-Alc Tech space, there are plenty of start ups out there who would be lucky and appreciative to have you as a part of their growing talent pool. Overproof just isn’t it.
