Pros

Management can be seen as the art of creating the appearance of strong performance — essentially, packaging mediocrity as if it were excellence.

Cons

The management is in disarray: they keep pretending that everyone in the company looks happy and productive, but in reality it’s all an act. Ever since Simon Black left, anonymous Q&A sessions have been shut down, and everyone knows the company is beyond saving. All of the C-level roles have been rotated, but the most alarming case is the new CTO, Bernie. He only hires his former colleagues from Klarna and Wayfair into senior leadership positions, which is blatantly corrupt. He never makes any real strategic decisions as a CTO should, instead delegating everything to a lower-level manager, Omar. His only visible contribution is insisting that all company systems be rewritten in Java/Spring Boot—an outdated approach that only reflects his own comfort zone. Most of the real talent has already left or been laid off, which is entirely understandable. The few people who remain are stuck in an environment of constant frustration and misery. At this point, the company is just putting on a façade to pacify investors, with no genuine intent to build a sustainable future.

Pros

Fresh fruit every monday international work environment gym membership free drinks in the office a couple of company parties

Cons

No career path - unless you are a friend of the founder or you are in the company since 2014. Company culture does not exist, and middle management laughs at it. Disparity of treatment between english speakers and german speakers, entire departments (ex. Sales) have only german workers. Powerless HR - overpowered management with zero accountability for their actions or what they say. Ethical issues in the issuing department, especially concerning the VIABUY product. PPRO claims it got a flat hierarchy, but only in certain locations. Some locations suffer instead of excessive micromanagement. Absolute lack of transparency. And if you try to ask for some, you kind of get punished.

Pros

It was a great company, quite structured with clear borders, great management and c level, with fantastic people but most of them are now gone.

Cons

- non tangible benefits - clueless c level and leadership - lack of continuity, often changes in leadership and management, projects are left and never picked up because every new leader or manager wants to shine with their new bright ideas that are completely detached from the company’s realities I am surprised the company still exists, but probably in a few more years it will be gone or bought by someone bigger.
