Miss-managed positions

Pros

Friendly people, fair pay, nice facility.

Cons

Executive leadership issues. Work was not delegated properly, communication was poor at best between my department and theirs. I was pulled aside and "let go" because the hiring team "jumped the gun" opening the position and the company wasn't doing well enough in sales to keep my position open. No warning, no alternative position, or time offered. Basically a "we screwed up" and good luck out there scenario. Very disappointed with the whole situation.

Pros

Ability to bring dog to work, where your own clothes, ability to set own schedule.

Cons

Wasn't recognized for pushing myself. Didn't receive training or instruction. Was intimidated and threatened by other employees, while employer did nothing. Fast growth led to a lot of bad decisions. I saw numerous safety violations being committed by my supervisors no accountability was ever seen. The words sinking ship come to mind. One and a half years later I was pulled aside and laid off with little explanation other than sales were down and best of luck out there.

Pros

PRx gives you a lot of ownership over your projects. If you’re in marketing, you’re not boxed into one channel and you get exposure to email, creative, campaigns, and strategy all at once. It’s a great place to build a broad skill set quickly and actually see your work go live. The team is collaborative and willing to move fast. Ideas don’t sit around for weeks. You can test, learn, and iterate quickly. There’s also a strong product and brand identity, which makes it easier to create meaningful campaigns.

Cons

Because it’s fast-paced and growing, priorities can shift quickly, which can make long-term planning or deeper strategy work more challenging at times. Processes aren’t always fully built out, so you have to be comfortable figuring things out as you go. Workload can vary depending on campaigns and seasonality, especially around major promotions.
