- The organization does not practice "social responsibility" when it comes to how staff are treated here. People have to fight for basic benefits and the organization begrudges staff even using benefits provided under legal minimums. Interns are unpaid.
- No long-term vision for how the organization escapes its 10 year slide in membership and fundraising
- Staff turnover is staggering. Only a couple people have worked at the national office for more than 2/3 years.
- The Board, while nice, are unresponsive to management & fundraising challenges. The past few EDs have come from the Board. Very few new Board Members are retained meaning most of the Board are people who have been on it forever.
- The organization's culture is highly secretive despite being a small nonprofit.
