- a verbal offer of employment and salary was discussed over the phone BEFORE benefits package was emailed. A request to review the benefits prior to accepting was denied and I was required to verbally accept the offer without seeing the benefits. I would have negotiated the benefits if I was able to review.
- Executive Officer was EXTREMELY micromanaging directors, and managers.... We were not given the open discussion to improve processes, instead because the "new" process was unknown to them - they were uncomfortable and wanted more time to review..... even if it was a simple change.
-interviewing process was VERY long and unnecessary 3 rounds is very old school and tiring to interview that many times before knowing the person you want to hire.... you either do or don't by the first interview...
-stepping into the role was cumbersome, lack of organization within the department. scattered information around the other staff and they were hard to work with.
-HR was not responsive to an issue flagged to them. unprofessional.
- executive did not keep his hiring promises to me to remain a healthy work life balance while maintaining integrity of getting the job done. very old school mind to believe employees are not working or 'nearly' as hard working at home. instead they prefer everyone waste hours of commute for low pay and expect the same high level work. while the executives are taking 2 hours lunches paid for by the company..... while also stating their is not room in the budget for higher paid salaries.... even if the pay was higher, I would not recommend working here
