Disappointing

Pros

Some really great people with a lot of heart.

Cons

Upper management in the facility is a boys club. Overspending on frivolous offices, lunches and meetings while 99% of the plant does not reap the benefits. Decisions are made irrationally in boardrooms without much input from the production floor and experts. Improvements are constantly shut down not based on merit but whether you are part of the boys club or not. Hard workers are not appreciated and treated as disposable especially women.

Pros

The people working at this company for the most part are very nice and helpful. Some of the people in top management are quite down to earth and cooperative as well. As a result, you get to learn a lot in a shot span of time and make great friends.

Cons

Most people are overworked & underpaid (especially QA) and the company lacks day-to-day general planning/ organization which adds to work stress. Lower management spends too much time socializing and strategizing rather than getting things done. Company has imposed wage freezes so employees will basically never get a raise until things change for the better.

Pros

Company likes to implement organization and "Planning ahead".

Cons

Management can not organize or plan ahead anything. plans change every 5-10 minutes (not exaggerating, this is true). higher turn over rate in management than employees. in 2 years there has been 4 production managers, and 3 GM's. Nothing is consistent. every new "Boss" is lower in IQ and higher in aggressive attitudes towards employees. most decisions make no sense at all. Everyone except management is forced to work 6-7 days a week (8-12 Hr shifts), while management can leave early and only work 5 days a week (some even work from home when they should be present).
