Pros

You have the option to work remotely.

Cons

There's not a clear path to growth in the company. The owner picks her favorites and who to give the best opportunities to. If you're trying to learn in your career and hone in on a skillset, you'll be working on too many projects and a heavy workload, with no overtime pay to be able to do so. The environment is also toxic and I have been screamed at and disrespected by leadership on multiple occasions. The owner also never has clear direction or vision for the roles she creates. My experience was very negative with this company and I can go on for hours. It was detrimental to my mental health. There's so many other better jobs out there. There's nothing to really keep anyone at this company.

PIP Promotes Curiosity

Pros

PIP's leadership team has a combined 100+ years of experience in the business of education. It has been an incredibly enriching experience to work with the best team of consultants to support the best publishers and innovators in the Education and Ed-Tech industry. The skills I've gained through my diversified project work and online accreditation courses will serve me well as I navigate through my professional career.

Cons

This is not a con, but more of a disclaimer. I quickly learned that PIP rewards proactivity, curiosity and promotes self-starters. If you're the type of person who lacks an open mind, waits for work to fall in your lap and who constantly needs to be told what to do, there is no clear path for growth at PIP.
