43% positive business outlook
Pros
You could wear whatever you wanted to, there was no dresscode
Cons
Like one day, a manager literally went in the front of the room, and threatened to fire everyone. The entire room full of people. The reason given was that our department's numbers weren't high enough... Or they'd walk up to people individually (myself included) and threaten us with termination daily, for not setting enough appointments. I never received a write up or coaching or any type of disciplinary action, this all just came out of nowhere. I felt like I had no choice but to quit. Absolutely terrible environment.
Pros
-Very supportive, genuine, and caring managers. They were always supportive and offered ideas and suggestions during stressful times. Great communicators. -My coworkers were AWESOME! Always willing to go out of their way to help others in the department. We all worked well together. -Flexible. Fair approvals of PTO, flexibility to attend doctor appointments, etc.
Cons
-Lack of technology and innovative systems; everything is done manually using Excel spreadsheets. -"Traditional" company; very difficult to implement new processes, procedures, and cultural improvements that are attractive to millennial's. -Lack of integrity
Pros
I love working at CPS. The managers are supportive and schedules are flexible for anyone seeking better work life balance.
Cons
End of the year is busy season when there is a lot of work
Pros
Managers are in another state, so you could get away with some messing around
Cons
Managers are hard to reach at times and will just straight up ignore questions
Pros
The starting salary is good, i enjoyed the small office size and location. Working out in the field and meeting business owners was valuable. Office Manager was supportive.
Cons
I found the job highly stressful when not achieving my goals, started to feel micromanaged at the end. Manager was inexpierienced but will get better over time. Upper management only concerned with results. The sales team and telemarketing team are always under pressure.
Pros
Can start working remote after 3-6 months. After longer time with the company they will eventually pay for your health insurance. They pay for your lunch on Wednesdays.
Cons
Learning how to do the job could actually take 6 months. Very unorganized, no training procedures, unprofessional & disrespectful manager. Doesn’t live up to the expected company culture. Customers and sales reps don’t answer the phone which makes it difficult to set up their accounts.
Pros
When not trying to meet daily deadlines, managers are friendly and seemingly caring. Money is used to motivate staff.
Cons
Too much pressure; environment because catty.
Pros
-flexible with my school schedule
Cons
-very low pay -there was no growth within the company -they only respected/treated people who have been there 5+ years -the culture/environment was like working in high school -extremely unprofessional and unorganized -the managers do not take accountability
Pros
They have refreshments for the staff
Cons
For a pay roll company you get paid 2 times per month, and it varied...... depends on the last day of the pay period 3 business days after, you don't get commissions like promise. POOR training. Bad management, Micro managers plantation like atmosphere. No respect for the telemarketing team. Very rude managers with stink attitudes. Worst job I've ever had. DO NOT APPLY! VERY OUT DATED for 2019 10 years behind the times.
