      Pros

      Working at Payhawk is truly exciting -you’re surrounded by very capable and driven people, and you learn from them every single day. One of the things I value most is that there are no underperformers; if someone is not motivated, they don’t stay in the business, which keeps the bar high and makes the environment incredibly motivating. You’re encouraged to experiment, fail, and try again, which creates a lot of space for growth. It’s a great place if you’re ambitious and want to challenge yourself. On top of that, commissions are incredible if you’re a strong closer, which makes the rewards match the effort.

      Cons

      The pace is fast and expectations are high, so it might not be the best fit if you prefer a slower or more comfortable environment.

      Worst company ever

      Pros

      No benefits whatsoever, apart from the team who is great

      Cons

      The worst company I’ve ever encountered. No benefits other than the salary, and don’t expect much from the bonuses either. The best part? They recently decided to force us to wear shirts, as if that would somehow make up for the fact that the product is terrible and overpriced. And let’s not even talk about the management—stifling, horrible, and completely devoid of humanity. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

      The Payhawk Team in Amsterdam works closely together and is focussed on building strong results for the region. Because of this, you learn a lot as an AE and you get to add value to the broader business objective of Payhawk. Payhawk offers a lot of growth opportunities and you get to work with a lot of different people across Europe and across teams. Payhawk furthermore focusses on hiring highly-talented people, which is paying off.

      Cons

      Payhawk is an office based company, and they are quite strict about these policies. They have improved now with additional remote working policies, but it does not compete with other software companies.
