Pros

The office location in Holon is reasonable

Cons

Worked at PayPlus for less the three month, and within that short period I personally saw at least 5 employees let go — almost weekly turnover in a relatively small company. The overall atmosphere felt tense and unnecessarily aggressive. . It was less “build and grow a team” and more “hire fast, replace fast.” Very limited onboarding, unclear expectations, and little meaningful feedback until termination. Candidates should understand that probation there is highly subjective, and job security — during and after probation — is not something this company prioritizes.

Pros

Job teaches you to be very precise and deliver fast. You learn to work under pressure and ship quality code quickly. Latest tech is adopted fast if it can benefit the product. Management relies on employees with architectural decisions and trusts engineers to make technical choices. Great place to start/grow your career if you want hands-on experience. Projects are often ambitious and you get to work on challenging problems.

Cons

Not a startup, but managed like one - all the chaos without the equity upside. No working from home option, which feels outdated in 2024/2025. Office politics can be draining - finding a way to deal with the management team sometimes feels more important than technical competency. Navigating personalities and expectations takes energy away from actual engineering work.

Pros

I’ve been with Payplus for 2 Years and couldn’t be happier with my decision. The company’s commitment to employee growth and professional development is evident through various training programs, mentorship opportunities, and clear career paths. Management truly listens to feedback and actively works to create a positive and supportive environment. The work-life balance is also a big plus, with flexibility in schedules and remote work options. It’s a place where hard work is recognized and appreciated, and where the team feels like a community.

Cons

Like any growing company, PayPlus sometimes faces challenges with rapid expansion, which can lead to shifts in roles or processes. However, they’re quick to adapt and communicate changes transparently.
