      - Low stress - Good job security; very stable - Barely any travel - You learn as much as you want to take initiatives - Good people to work with; barely any politics

      - Lower pay and benefits compared to other consulting jobs - You don't always get to work on stuff that you like

      Pros

      Some pretty smart guys, the owners are pretty technical and smart and good consultants themselves. Good track record with clients at the end of the day.

      Cons

      Owners know little about running or growing a real business. Inefficient meetings, lack of professionalism and organization and no real effort to invest in cross training or knowledge exchange. There are a few bad apples that seem to really hold back the constant attrition that goes on.
