Pros
Remote work, Limited interaction with Leadership, Equipment.
Cons
I've worked in the payment integrity space and for multiple Medicare contractors for over 20 years. Performant had the potential and was poised to be one of the best in the industry but due to poor leadership the organization has taken a different direction. Senior leadership lacks the healthcare experience needed to drive growth and compete and works in an arena of constant chaos never seeming to learn from past mistakes. The company does not value or invest in their employees and maintains the "burn and turn" concept. Great experience is hired but rarely kept. Working environment and morale is low because of lack of appreciation and unreasonable workload. Performant operates on a skeleton crew and does not hire for new contracts.
