Generally friendly environment. Quite flexible in terms of lunch hour or going to pray. Free food sometimes.
Cons
Management is cheapskate. High expectations of new employees but refuse to pay market rate. They rather good employees leave than increase pay. Slow to hire new staff. Some homes have been short staffed for YEARS! No concern on staff wellbeing. Feedbacks given by staff who left are not worked on. Exit interviews are just formality for paperwork sake. Staff are burnt out. Homes do not have proper professional support to manage a residential home. CEO is a micro manager. He wants to control everything but due to his busy schedule, everything gets delayed waiting for his approval. Too many approvals and departments to go through just for 1 item/service. Many high potential staff left. Office politics are disgusting. Talking behind people are the norm instead of talking and discussing issues professionally. Weak middle management unable to make decisions bcos CEO micro manage.
