Pros

They can look after staff when they want to. Lucky if you're one of those, unlucky if not. You can win lots of wine. Decent pension, company matches what you put in(after 3 yrs) 20 days sick per year worked out at an average of previous 12 weeks earnings minus bonuses.

Cons

Low mileage expenses. Bad management. Terrible customer service. Favouritism between managers and reps, not a fair chance employer. No staff development. Bad working hours. In effect a commission only job, should you not hit monthly target they take money off your "salary" per % you are under so in effect you can end up with minimum wage but have worked 50-60 hrs a week and earn basic wage, nowhere near advertised "salary". The company mail shots it's entire customer base three times a year offering a "gift" from the company to "celebrate" something or other and a tasting of their new spring, summer or Xmas wine range. The problem with that being reps are only ever given gifts to appointments made for that weeks work. The gifts run out after 3-4 weeks and the rest of the customers are left constantly complaining, a reps nightmare as they get the brunt of it and can often loose customers over it.

Pros

To try to explain. Pieroth offers a great career in sales. Benefits include ALL leads provided, base income, commision and many incentives included in the package and throughout the course of the year. If you can't sell than not for you. if you don't hit targets then look for another career. It's that simple, it's sales...

Cons

Take more time to understand the role and there are none.

Pros

Big international company with offices around the world. So if I decide to move to Oz with my friend at least I have options as they are based in Australia too. Very exciting job, I've worked here for a few months now and love it. It's such a refreshing change from the usual day to day. Lots of training provided and the team are always so motivated. I come from a hospitality background so wanted to try something new. I actually read the reviews on here before my interview and was a bit skeptical at first but went along (what did I have to lose?) and after a sit down with the manager and seeing how they worked, I accepted the job and never looked back. I've also recommended one of my friends to come work for them.

Cons

Sales is sales - you either want to work in sales and push yourself or you don't.
