Pros
- casual dress code policy - product vision is "cool" - work/life balance was good if you're okay going home at the end of the day knowing that there's no chance in hell you're hitting quota that month or ever
Cons
- Can't trust management - Con artists all around - Impossible quotas - Math made no sense... we were selling software for a few hundred dollars and there was no way we could even offset our own salaries with that low of revenue - Had us selling preorders for software that didn't exist. The launch date was constantly being pushed back "another couple of weeks" for months. By the time I left, I had convinced so many people to drop their current software so they could switch to ours and not been able to deliver them an actual product that it made me sick. Management knew about it but would just keep lying. As far as I'm aware, the software still doesn't exist years later, just a crude beta version and some screenshots.
