Pros

Most of the standard benefits are provided. Engineering org is substandard. So expectations are low. You can easily deliver bunch of nonsense and get a good rating.

Cons

*Absolutely* useless projects. none of the work make any sense here at all. The trend is to go with what is currently the fad in the industry rather than something that actually make sense. Cloud connected headset and base with a number pad makes as much sense as a elephant diapers. Of course these idiots won't listen as, what would lowly engineers know about technology. Everyone is doing cloud so let us do cloud too. Next would be machine learning in telephones and Alexa in headset. Meanwhile they have not been able to refresh their most profitable product in 7 years. There are multiple platforms each doing the same thing with a different name. The approach of management is to call a failed project by a different name and then continue doing it. Outsource key work to russia and then when that fails move it to cheap H1b labor in Austin. Meanwhile pay is getting cut and most employees have started leaving while others have started updating their resumes. The quality of engineering is so bad. Agile for the sake of agile-ity is ruining the quality of output. Of course you have overpaid managers for that pressing buttons and doing no other good.

QA means Question Answer

Pros

Searching........ Still Searching...... Ok, enough, 404, Not Found. Hey, this looks a fake review. Hold on, not done yet. - You get free breakfast. - If lucky, you get cab as well. - Trip to a pub every 3 months where you get free booze, unlimited, get high and then report to office next day. Really now enough. I can't cook more.

Cons

Searching.....100+ results found in less than 0.001s. Ohh,I forgot the title, question and answer. - How did you complete, how much will you complete, can you complete this today, no,no, this is higher priority, now complete this today. Few of the managers would even peep into your laptop(I know it sounds disgusting) but there's more, they would even eavesdrop while you are on phone with your family or friends and make sure they comment something sarcastic when you are done. Now, this is what you call dirty and cheap. Regional politics, nepotism, picking favorites, butt licking are few of the unsaid professional talents should be present in your resume to rise and prosper. QA is the worst of the lot, it's a dark pit, where if you enter it's like a sales job. You need to do this much today, if you can't complete be prepared to face the music irrespective of reasons.
