Pros

The usual startup perks, decent pay, friendly coworkers. A viable product idea with a unique and interesting user base.

Cons

Product, design and tech decisions are made at engineering management and c-level. Quick and dirty solutions are preferred, always. There are no product people, design and devs don't participate in the ideation phase, and there's no room for feedback during the development phase. Management is bending the concept of agile development quite a bit. There is a strong push for "velocity" - a couple of weeks at best for any feature or change. There is no time for in-depth discussion either. In short, a product company managed as a digital/ad agency.

Pros

The team members are kind, for the most part.

Cons

Total mismanagement. Hiring senior team members who are incapable at doing their jobs and uninterested in growth of employees. Employees treated very poorly. Employees overworked.
