Very toxic, abusive management

Pros

Hybrid / remote schedule, folks in and outside my department were friendly.

Cons

hostile work environment due to upper management. We got acquired, and while my manager was good, her now boss, the legal counsel who was over our dept, was extremely toxic, almost abusive in her aggressive and hostile nature. does not understand how to manage people nor communicate effectively. Instead, chooses to undermine and yell. she seems quite unstable. Grateful to have found a new role and quit. My wife is happy about it too.

Portfolio is like a family - I love the people I work with!

Benefits: Paid Medical; 401K; PTO; etc, Flex Schedule, Fun Activities Throughout the Year, Fred Award (for recognition), Environment is fun and laid back.

Cons

Mangers are not all qualified and can cause harm on their department, Communication between departments lack and it’s a very stressful job at times.

The benefits are good. Met a lot of great co workers.

Cons

This company is still growing and seem to want to promote from within, although there is no management skills needed to perform the essential duties of the departments. Management will overwhelm you and always require the max out of you at all times. Myself as well as other employees have experienced bullying by management. The job duties exceed healthy levels of stress brought upon each employee.
