Pros

Good salads. Offered a great learning environment before the recent restrictions on cross-disciplinary work.

Cons

Lack of internal organization, both personnel and data.

Pros

There were many great people at Praedicat, and some still remain. The idea is theoretically a good one, and in the beginning at least, I felt I was contributing to something that would make the world greener, safer and healthier.

Cons

At this point, virtually all of the top talent is gone. Executive management is learning some harsh lessons and I don't know how they can succeed when they continue to pivot every six months and pin the companies hopes on the next big hire. The other reviews rightly point out the rampant favoritism. These employees hit the sweet spot of caressing an academics ego while alienating most of the other "unimportant" coworkers. Drama is a daily occurrence, and Praedicat boasts an all star crier/screamer/drama queen who has been promoted to their level of incompetence. Politics reign, and reason has been lost.

Pros

great work colleagues. good environment, Tuesday Salad, Thursday lunch.

Cons

the most disorganized software team. too laid back and relax environment. CTO got fired. the software development team leaders don't have enough knowledge and experience for their title. spaghetti and old code. No opportunity to learn new technologies. their main system is on asp.net web form and it has been developed in 2015. They call themselves a software company where they don't have QA or BA. NO SDLC,

Regarding your advice to management: At the time you provided your review, Praedicat had already engaged an executive recruiter to assist us with the CTO search. We recognize and appreciate how important it is to bring on a CTO who understands our team, the problems we are trying to tackle and the challenges our technology organization faces.
