Pros

It is a small, close knit company; not micro managed. The pay was good, and it is a nice environment (until it isn't).

Cons

If you don't "fit in" they will find ways to make your work environment very uncomfortable in attempt to make you quit, and then fire you.

Tough job, weak management, high drama

Pros

Plenty of overtime, nice lunchroom

Cons

Poor training with little follow-up afterwards. New hires are thrown to the wolves. The middle managers really run the place, and have nothing nice to say about the upper bosses. My boss was asked to post positive work reviews on job sites including the words "christmas party" and "company picnic" to try to counter all the negative ones that actually tell the truth of working there. I agree with other postings about the chemical haze and bad airflow. I have to shower as soon as I get home to get rid of the skin rash I get after working in it all day. Especially in the summer when the temp in the plant runs between 95 and 100.
