Some recruitment companies just creep. Precision is not one of those businesses. The only con in recruitment is that recruitment is not suitable for most people so you need to research what you are getting into.

Pros

The training and investment in staff is first class with a real focus on developing people. As a trainee I am confident that there is no other IT staffing business that offers such a comprehensive training program that will ensure I am fully equipped to be a success. Incentives are very good and the team are a very entertaining and friendly bunch.

The offices do need updating and the leadership team do plan to eventually move offices which will create an even better environment.

Pros

One of the best office cultures you could imagine. Such a good vibe and plenty of incentives to keep everyone motivated. Management are really hands on and care about your development and career progression. I loved my time there and would recommend working there to anyone interested in recruitment.

Cons

Recruitment is a tough industry and you have to be prepared to cold call and build your market. It's not a con but if you're not ready to do the work then it isn't the place for you.

Brilliant leadership and on the job training as well as internal/external classroom training too. Leadership are all very encouraging about propelling my career within the company as well. There's some great incentives and there's a lot of flexibility shown too which is a good motivator for staff to be high performers in return. They also have a good retention of staff which is one of the things I liked when I first researched the company before I joined as that is rare in recruitment.

Cons

It's a small office environment so the lines between professional and social lives are sometimes blurred. The values are brilliant but are sometimes forgotten although leadership are generally good at reminding the team of this.

Pros

Great team culture, and incentive opportunities. Whether you are new to recruitment or have many years experience you are always made welcome by the Precision crowd! The leadership team have many years experience building desks in niche markets, each having an individual style to suit their personalities.

Cons

These guys are specialists in small markets so don't expect to be given heaps of jobs from client panels. It is hard work but the pay off is worth it

Pros

One of only a select few companies that genuinely see training as a benefit rather than a cost. Consistent in their approach to training and more importantly actioning/measuring the outcomes of training exercises. A warm and welcoming environment. Flat reporting structure with opinions accepted regardless of being negative or positive.

Cons

Nothing of significance. Can be quite KPI driven at first but in fairness the formula for new starters works remarkably well. Once you've done the activity less and less importance is put on activity and more so on outcomes.
