1. Poor Management style:
From the point person managing people to their immediate boss. You get an offer letter with the company only for them to give it for signing when you show to the office. Your letter will state whom you'll be reporting to only for them change that & have you reporting to a low level employee who sits at same level as you.
They won't value your privacy. Be prepared to be getting calls from management late in the night or weekends to have you complete a task or question adversely to as to why you did this or that.
2. No work Life balance:
- 12 leave days from January - December
- 3 sick leaves from January - December
- 3 paternity leaves ONLY
If your sick leaves are over & still need sometime off, they let you be on leave but then deducted the numbers of days taken to work on your health. Very astonishing!
3. Poor pay.
They really entice you when signing you in after an interview only to pay below what's expected.
4. Orthodox kind of Management Style.
One team leader in Nairobi who will choose to lead, rule & drain you mentally with irrational statements & question to whatever good thing you'd have done. He typically won't value or appreciate your work. However much you try to perform.
If you're a smart employee who'll question professionally as why certain management style is taking effect or why your rights as an employee are being infringed then be sure to be seeing the door sooner than later.
