I have been working at Premium Credit full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    1. Premium Credit is forming its first Diversity & Inclusion Council. I am looking forward to exciting times within the company. 2. Our purpose initiative journey took on a different approach. It was a company wide involvement and I was pleased with the process and outcome.

    Cons

    1. Lack of career progression 2. It is very difficult to switch careers and gain the work experience required to aid in studying and development. It just does not exist.

I worked at Premium Credit full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people to work with, and a really collaborative and open working culture.

    Cons

Company has not had its FCA license long, and is still playing catch up in certain areas of regulation. Also, the fact the company is PEQ-owned lends all jobs vulnerable to redundancy than an equivalent autonomous institution.

I have been working at Premium Credit full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Company has worked hard in the past couple of years to improve things for employees, and give more of a direction and structure. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, if always busy. From an IT point of view it doesn't sit still, keeping technology and practices current, although not quite cutting edge. The regular company wide updates since lockdown have been great.

    Cons

Private equity ownership brings some uncertainty for the future. IT department not well integrated with the rest of the company.

I have been working at Premium Credit full-time

    Pros

I started a mere 3 years ago at PCL during this time I have been guided and mentored by some industry experts and high performers and nearly doubled my salary through hard work and recognition in a short space of time. Its a fast paced business where hard work and results are rewarded.

    Cons

Being a private equity owned business there is always a worry that there will be big changes when the company is sold

I have been working at Premium Credit part-time for more than a year

    Pros

There is great flexibility afforded to staff in relation to working conditions. It allows people to get a good job done whilst still allowing for a healthy work life balance, especially if you have a young family. It means i don't need to sacrifice my career but can still develop it without compromising my home life. There is no micro management of staff & I am able to work on my own initiative while getting support if needed. No element of the blame game culture but is very solution driven instead if something doesn't go to plan. I find Premium Credit an enjoyable place to work and i think they have coped remarkably well over the last couple of months with Covid-19 and supported staff as best as they can.

    Cons

No cons to mention at the moment.
