Pros

Free benefits, great coworkers, job is fine.

Cons

Middle management makes our work-life balance extremely difficult. Retaliation is real in this company. Pay is unfair.

We’re sorry to hear that your experience at ProKidney has not met your expectations, particularly regarding work-life balance and concerns around retaliation. This is not the experience we strive to create for our team. We have recently changed our schedule from a 7-day operation to a 5-day operation in the hopes of improving work-life balance for the team. Work-life balance is a priority for us, and we continue to explore ways to support our employees’ well-being more effectively. In addition, we are committed to maintaining a culture of trust and psychological safety, where people can raise concerns without fear of retaliation and we’re currently hosting a program for each department on psychological safety to reinforce our commitment to this important aspect of our culture. While we can’t comment on individual cases, we encourage you to speak directly with your manager or HR if they feel uncomfortable. Thank you again for taking the time to share your perspective—it helps us improve.

Pros

Free snacks on site in the breakroom

Cons

Bad leadership from both the senior and middle level. The expectation is that you will work around the clock. They will 'eliminate your position' and then turn around to hire someone else with the same job duties. It is a mess.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you are frustrated with the current situation. We continue to add both temporary and full-time staff to handle our workload and provide leadership training opportunities to support our workforce. We know it can be difficult to understand certain personnel changes that may involve confidential information. We seek to hire the most qualified staff to support our evolving business needs and serve our patient population. If you’re feeling stressed or overloaded, we want to know so we can adjust. Please share your thoughts with your manager and ask them to address your concerns. If your manager is not responsive, please reach out to HR. We want to make sure our staff are supported and appreciated.
