      Incredibly sketchy environment

      Pros

      Coworkers work well together, and have a camaraderie due to the long hours put in together.

      Cons

      - The CEO has no real vision of where the company should go, only vague ideas that "our product will be used by every local government" - The CEO embezzles funds to pay for her lavish apartment and personal dinners.

      Pros

      Amazing group of coworkers who cared deeply about each other and the company's mission statement. Great office space located conveniently near BART. Very interesting challenges and the possibility to create a product with a meaningful impact.

      Cons

      Terrible CEO mismanagement. Constantly shifting, unclear company policies and product direction. No benefits or perks outside of 3 PTO/sick days per year. Extremely high turnover due to questionable firings and a mass exodus of most employees. Numerous incidents in which shockingly disrespectful language was used toward current and former team members. Just a generally negative and uncomfortable environment created through petty disciplinary actions, accusations, and open resentment toward employees.

      Nice office, coworkers were very smart and determined, mission was excellent.

      Cons

      Serious concerns about whether CEO knows how to run a company, delays in releasing products, and no transparency whatsoever. No trust amongst employees of CEO.
