College Grads- BEWARE. Biggest scam.

Pros

I mean it's a job. If you're desperate though, work at a restaurant or retail before working here, though.

Cons

This place is definitely the biggest scam on the market. Watch out for companies like these, grads. Do research on where they get their clients, and ask them what makes them different from all these other "marketing" companies around here. A little insight: Their version of B2B is not how we learned it in college, y'all. It's essentially door to door. Watch out! Pay attention to their "success" stories, brainwashing and non-stop mentioning of the MONEY people make there. Survivor ship bias.

We are disappointed that you are left with a negative perception of QCB Events Inc. During the interview process, we try to get to know the candidates with transparency before the onboarding process. We believe in 100% transparency as our business model. We also offer a variety of different positions based on an individual's skill levels, with the potential to grow within our company. Sometimes our business model does not suit everyone. We wish you luck in your career search

Pros

Fellow employees were nice to be around

Cons

Was told the job was from 9-6... but after the first week they have you pulling 8am-8pm, including saturdays. You are required to drive over an hour away everyday and don't get reimbursed for gas or mileage. They tell you all along that you will be a "business owner" in 6-9 months but if that is the type of business I would own I want no part in it. Don't waste your time unless you want to go around selling makeup to strangers in parking lots and get yelled at. No benefits or base salary even though they tell you you have one.

Horrible company to work for

Pros

Flexible schedule for vacation, but 6 days required.

Cons

They require 11-12 hour days in which you don't receive a lunch break. The businesses you market to are 1-2 hours away, but they don't compensate for gas. It's go-go-go with no guarantee of pay. Literally refused to pay me for a 12 hour day even after I made sales.

Our business model is growth-oriented, where you start in one position and go through training to move into management positions. The understanding of all levels of our business is key to our management roles which is why we use our training program as the best business development tool. Upon joining our team there is a Compensation Agreement that is signed. This agreement outlines that every team member will receive a base pay, anything earned outside that base pay is a perk. However, if this agreement was breached by quitting without proper notice, or no-call-no show then there are penalties. We understand that our career opportunities can be extensive and take a lot of hard work. However, with a dedicated work ethic, you can truly go far within our business. We are sorry you did not see the great opportunity that our careers entail. Thank you.
