Worst "Leadership" Ever

Pros

There are some wonderful people still there who feel trapped and depressed by the way this place operates. Most are desperate to escape. Others stay because it's a decent place to retire if they no longer care.

Cons

This is not a healthcare quality improvement organization. It is a contract acquisition and maintenance organization. Their public assertion that "investing in our employees" is the key to their success is quite simply not true. Previous reviews posted here are entirely accurate. Zero opportunity for advancement. Every request for professional development denied. Leadership completely out of touch with the front lines and utterly uninvolved with the work.

lack of effective management

Pros

Many people who work there are like minded and want to effect positive change.

Cons

The worst part of working at Qsource is the frustration that grows from recurring systemic problems within the company being persistently, purposefully ignored by management. The company lacks any true leadership and, therefore, overlooks the potential of its employees, offering limited growth opportunities and no professional development or training of any sort. Another negative aspect is the company's reliance on outside cookie-cutter performance appraisal systems that management tries to sell as a way for employees to feel connected and that what they do contributes to a larger goal, when, in fact, that system just makes staff jump through hoops with no clear goals and only a false connection to the company's objectives.

Pros

There are really no pros that I can think of relative to working at this organization. Although those who are not in management seem to be fairly nice.

Cons

Listed in no particular order: - Lack of leadership - Lack of diversity in ideas - Unethical practices - Lack of direction given on requirements or expectations - No room for advancement - Unwillingness to coach or mentor new hires - Management that does not believe in following their own policies and procedures - Unwillingness to provide educational or instructional growth opportunities to employees that have put in many years with the organization - Unwillingness to perform standard perfomance appraisals Why is an organization that is federally mandated and paid by the state to be an INDEPENDENT and EXTERNAL quality review organization paid to handle the services of said state with the only oversight coming from the very same said state? Seems to be a conflict of interest.
