Quite a laid back company to work for. Money paid weekly instead of monthly. Fairly new fleet of mainly Volvo lorries.

Where do I start?! The problems start at the top. Robert Collard's attitude towards his staff stinks. Whether you're a manager or a minion, if he's having a bad day and you're in the wrong place at the wrong time you're going to cop for the brunt of it! He's arrogant and ignorant and has a "If you don't like it, you know where the gate is" attitude. The senior transport management are generally o.k. Demolition management are generally a disorganised shower of clowns! Either ringing you late at night to let you know what you're doing and where the next day or not ringing you at all! Very good at passing the buck onto everyone else for their mistakes. Demolition machines are fairly new and relatively well maintained but the attachments for the machines are badly maintained and when they break or malfunction, the question is always "How have YOU done that?" You're paid a monthly attendance and maintenance bonus. If you have one days "unauthorised absence" you lose it for the whole month! Keep an eye on your wages. Time docked from your timesheets without, explanation on, a regular basis. All company vans are fitted with trackers and that's what you are paid from. Don't expect any opportunities for promotion, unless your face fits or your an butt kisser!
