Pros

For me it's all about the people that you work with.. I've been in very toxic workplaces in the past and know firsthand how much compassionate management with empathy matters. I really lucked out at RAPP because the management is awesome and has been incredibly supportive of my very severe chronic medical issues I've had to live with the last few years. They know I get the work done and they always have my back.

Cons

The work can be a bit dry compared to other Marketing roles I've had in the past.. it's not very creatively rewarding. I wish there were a bit more exciting creative opportunities on more diverse accounts to work on. Also the pay is a bit below the industry standard for California with the specific tech role I do.

Pros

Good team. Fair work life balance. Mild flexibility. Decent benefits. Good clients.

Cons

Along with a change in leadership, Omnicom just acquired another major conglomerate causing major change, and shift in ways of working trickling down to the sub companies under the mother umbrella group. After several years of strong stability, superb flexibility, the best leadership, and the best talent, we are now entering a stage of major shake ups, including return to office a downgrade of benefits, including holidays, less of a work life balance due to talent being lost to other firms and hiring of offshore resources and a major push for DEI. Opportunity for growth is also becoming sparse.
