Pros

Steady paycheck and the opportunity for quarterly bonuses. Flexible schedule with prior approval from management.

Cons

Your opinion is never valued. This company had tunnel vision when it comes to project management. They are ALWAYS reactive instead of being proactive. Known to make several "verbal" decisions and later forget the reasoning behind their decisions. The leadership in this company is extremely poor. Your success in the company is linked to who you know rather than how you perform. The people are fake and rude. Management is never open for new ideas. Teamwork isn't a concept at this company. If you decide to work here document everything because these people won't hesitate to throw their fellow teammates under the bus.

We’re sorry that you have felt your opinions aren’t valued. Your description of the company isn’t in alignment with our values; we would ask that you talk with someone about your experiences, with the goal of helping us come up with more positive solutions. We strive for collaboration and are always looking to improve, and we need our associates help to make that happen.

Egos, Arrogance, and Ignorance are the 3 words that describe CDI

Pros

None. Unfortunately all the good quality, knowledgeable individuals who help shaped Insight and CDI have either, left, been fired, or marginalized that there is no knowledge base anymore. 2 weeks after the merger the CEO resigned for another position. That speaks volumes!

Cons

This company is run from a top down approach. Basically if it doesn't fit a nice little model they have no idea what to do. There is no room to grow within the company and for the most part, run by individuals who do things that make them look busy without actually doing much work. Since the merger, morale is non-existent. Operational staff have no one to turn to and sales have quotas that are unachievable and no sales management to speak of. VP's make huge salaries while cuts continue to happen for most. Salary increases were given this year but only at 2% (1st time after 4 years for some), basically to appease the masses. Turnover rate is high and equipment is old with no new revenue source for upgrades. Corporate constantly tells the employees that things are fine and likes to tout numbers that fit this narrative (completely dishonest I may add). Former employees know the truth that there is some kind of con going on here. If I can give anyone any advice is to steer clear of this company unless your looking for something very short term. Most employees have the attitude of "I just don't care anymore."

Pros

Great Team and Team work. Great co-workers.

Cons

1 raise in 5 years, no place to advance, but costs of medical and benefits keep going up. Turnover is extremely high in the last 3 years.

Couldn’t agree more that we have a great team! We have career paths in place for our field administrative, technologist and sales roles and in most of our corporate departments to provide opportunities for associates to advance, and in 2017 174 associates were promoted into new roles and 37 others chose internal transfers for new experiences; in total, that’s 11% of our associates who took on new challenges and opportunities that were available! Based on associate feedback, we’ve introduced three health plan choices for 2018 to meet a wider range of needs for our associates., and our 2017 turnover was below the average turnover rate within the healthcare space. We’ve also made a philosophical change in our compensation program to move to a merit bonus plan, so associates are earning additional dollars based on both company performance and individual performance. We agree, it’s very important to focus on our associates and provide them a great experience, so they in turn feel supported to provide that outstanding experience to our patients and customers.
