Pros

Products are good, but not a requirement for any customer. Pay is above average for the industry and benefits can be attractive (but hard to realise)

Cons

You'll always be looking over your shoulder and wondering if you'll have a job next week. Hire and fire attitude with appalling respect of employees. Management lie to your face and blame staff for any issues. Products are good but overlap the big boys in the industry so it's a hard sell.

Pros

The technology was cutting edge 4-8 years ago. As mobility has grown and XP has died, RES has been in a decline. Great culture of treating peers as family and friends, but only at peer level, not by management. Great benefits, salary and travel policy. Great Presidents Club New CEO will hopefully change management and strategy for the better. There are a lot of people hoping he will change management and management mistakes

Cons

Executive management provides half truths and lies! They continually hire C+ players because management is fixated on bodies in chairs rather than quality. They continually believe more head count equates to more revenue or appearance of a larger company. They are a Channel focused company that doesn't know how to build or manage the channel. Executives are continually making bad decisions on the strategy for products and market. Ex: They made IT store their flagship product when Workspace Manager provided over 70% of revenue. By the time they realized their mistake it was too late and were forced to RIF employees. This is just one example of many. IT Store is cool but not a leader. Other IT Store providers like SericeNow, BMC Remedy and other custom software vendors have the customer base to upsell "nice to have" technology. RES Follows the European tech sales belief of "if you build it they will buy it". That doesn't work in the US or majority of Europe, except in Netherlands. Where is RES located?
