Pros

was a really good company to work for, some good health benefits, and there are some really good and genuine people who work here

Cons

if your face fits then it may be good for you, rhp tend to employ people for the more higher roles who have very little or mainly no experience whatsoever in the job roles they are being placed in, which then leads to very unreasonable and unachievable goals being handed down to the team working under them, it's more about who you know than what you know here, as long as everything looks good on the outside it doesn't matter what's happening on the inside, also like to try and make cutbacks to save money yet still manage to make up high paid job roles so that the rhp graduates can walk into a job.

Thanks for taking the time to reflect on your experience of working at RHP Group. We’re really proud of our benefits package – and our people are the secret to our success. Our assessment process is exactly the same for both internal and external candidates to ensure jobs only go to those that best deserve them. Instead of making redundancies like most housing associations have had to do recently, we’ve instead asked our people to become more agile, changing the way the work and trying out new things. To help motivate people during these times, we’ve tried to create an exciting vision of what we’re aiming to achieve, have clear messaging, celebrate quick wins and importantly make sure we have fun along the way.

Pros

Great friendly people who care about their jobs and their residents Very good employee benefits. Ambitious company outlook - but get the balance right.

Cons

Poor career prospects – middle management tend not to move and the graduate programme guarantees a middle management role every year. You can be made to feel segregated very quickly if you don’t do what everyone else does. The senior managers put more and more pressure on staff and change working arrangements to suit themselves. Elderly residents are being forgotten about. They can’t phone anyone in the call centre to book repairs or pay their rent – this has be to done all on-line. RHP is forgetting it is a social housing provider; they’re too busy worrying about the satisfaction figures against John Lewis or Amazon. They need to concentrate on getting the basics right to provide a great service, something there that the staff are trying to do. Does David Done know or even care what the ordinary members of staff feel or what the senior managers want him to hear?

Pros

Health insurance , Hybrid but my manager acted as if its was a privilege

Cons

Working in the rent team at RHP presented some challenges that differed from the initial job description. Many team members expressed dissatisfaction with their roles, and after two months, I chose to leave for the sake of my mental health. The environment involved a significant amount of micromanagement and frequent meetings. For individuals with a corporate background or higher education, it may be worth considering these factors before accepting a position in this team.
