No hikes or promotion in this organization

Overbearing owners putting unnecessary stress on staff who are already working hard Area manager who has so much pressure heaped on him that he in turn piles it onto staff Blame culture when something goes wrong Decisions always driven by money rather than best interests of customer Poor benefits and little to no reward for longstanding members of staff No openness with salaries/benefits allowing for favouritism for some and ridiculously low pay for others No real work life balance, always expected to be available or you are deemed to be difficult A draining place to work where you are left feeling that you are never quite good enough Pay rises/promotions given to those who threaten to leave rather than on merit No real in depth jewellery training given to staff members who are then referred to as experts, more concerned with whether they know how to pour a glass of champagne All very superficial
