Pros

its a job and nothing else, but is local if you can get on a local project otherwise you travel with no pay

Cons

It is a cheap place with no understanding of how to get materials and equipment to employees. No office supplies, safety equipment is old and outdated, it equates to the "Randall Ragamuffins"

Pros

Buying power is the only pro I can think of.

Cons

1.) Hire Cheap and Produce very poor work. 2.) The office staff is very unorganized and unprofessional to its employees. 3.) Revolving door. 4.) They are flying people in from Puerto Rico that have no idea or have never been in the construction trade just to get feet on the ground. 5.) Anybody can become manager with no experience necessary 6.) There is no parking for the amount of people they hire. 7.) The so called leaders are all looking out for themselves and are quick to throw each other under the bus. 8.) No internal support 9.) Not a team environment 10.) No training opportunities 11.) Set people up for disaster 12.) Do not take care of their loyal employees 13.) Hourly / Salary pay is way under the industry standards 14.) No overtime pay 15.) Never follow thru with promises 16.) Sink or swim company mentality 17.) Company has created a very poor to no culture

A depressing place.

Pros

Considering the bleakness of the current job market, it is recommended to work there only until something / anything else becomes available. Great exposure to litigation and strategies to avoid complying with labor laws and contracts. Great exposure of how to delay payment to subcontractors, vendors, and employees.

Cons

Lies and deceptions. Company is notorious for hiring people at an agreed upon wage, then usually within three to four months after being hired the pay is significantly reduced. Do not get suckered into spending your money in anticipation of being reimbursed, you won't be. If paid hourly, do not get suckered into working overtime in anticipation of being paid overtime, it won't happen without resistance.
