Pros

There are some talented people that work for this company, all of whom deserve better. Whilst it suits the owner, hybrid working is still available.

Cons

A careless owner who is quite happy to cut off his nose to spite his face. Cowardly approach to difficult situations, disloyal and two faced. Will only support you when it suits him. Often resorts to knee-jerk reactions, is happy to pass the buck, and has zero accountability for anything. Will happily break professionalism when it suits, ignores advertising regulations, hides negative reviews on search engines and the website, illegitimate pricing policies and will undermine and distrust anyone who dares speak up. Has made reckless redundancies with no explanation or thought put in to it and expects junior staff to pick up the staff... with no compensation. Has treated cerrtain members of staff appaulingly including someone that recently was pushed out by the owner, absolutely appauling eay to treat someone and doesn't see what's coming as a result of that. All staff very shocked and unhappy with this decision, including those in Kenya. Arrogant, difficult to work with and one of the worst 'managing directors' I've ever had the displeasure of working for. Contractors and yes men rule the roost here, always has been the case. Underqualified people in senior positions replacing staff that actually knew what they were doing. Far too concerned with playing business and the outward projection of success than actually adapting and solving key issues. Ironically, 'Adapt' being the company values that the owner certainly doesn't follow or lead by example with. Most roles are now going to Kenya, a distinct lack of progression. Constantly patronised. Senior management have made degrading and disparaging comments about staff. Non-existent training (Udemy is NOT good enough) and general lack of care towards anything other than making the owner enough money for his dividends and multiple holidays per year whilst hard working people loose their jobs and ate paid the minimum you can get away with. Most of the good staff here, including those high up are looking to leave. No-one trustworthy in senior management anymore, so we will go through the motions. There was even a revent instance where the owner is advertising for roles already filled and the COO didnt even know about it. Hardly open and honest! I wouldn't recommend this company to someone I hated. It is such a shame as it had so much promise, but I'd be amazed if it was still trading in 12 months time.
