Pros

1) All your collegues would be from premier b-schools and IITs 2) You get to travel by air in free 3) Free food/booz

Cons

Well this is going to be a long list 1) The management is very high handed and uses abusive language with almost all employees. They would treat you as their personal slave. 2) You would not be doing CCPM at all. Believe me, do not rely on the fancy presentation that they show you during induction. The work that the company does in India is not even close to CCPM, it isn't consulting either. you are working as just another civil engineer, that too without any authority to get things done. You would be frustrated out of your mind trying to figure out what's going on especially if you're not a civil engineer. (yes, they hire electrical/mechanical engineers to do civil work) 3) The company is dying and has only a couple of projects with them.(high uncertainty in terms of employment, you may be asked to go on leave without pay on a very short notice) Not recommended for married professionals or people with financial obligations. 4) The negotiated pay package is never actually given to employees. Close to 25% of the salary is variable pay, which is never given at all (this has been the trend for a long time now-kindly speak to a current employee to verify the same) So the pay "hike" which is offered to lure people is just a mirage. In fact you may end up receiving less salary than you currently do. 5) No provident fund for employees. Almost 100% of your salary is taxable. 6) No medical insurance for employees. (Points 5 & 6 reinforce my point on slavery) 7) High rate of iteration out of the company. People move out on the first opportunity that they come across. 8) Most of the people advocating on behalf of the company are either stuck there for some reason or other or are busy sucking up in front of the management. These people find difficult to switch jobs as the kind of work done here adds little value to both the client's business and the employee's CV 9) Your profile takes a hit when you work for this firm. You would have no high points to pitch in front of a potential employer in future as most of the companies project end on a bad note. (the Bihar Govt project is an outstanding example of this)

Pros

Money is good, reimbursement policy is nice. Good to gain some consulting experience.

Cons

Extreme micromanagement, very bad culture. The company works in a very specific way and it's hard to adapt to it. Site deployment and frequent travel, no personal space or time.
