Good tech but worst management ever.
Pros
When I started everything was very good and what you expect from a dream company. Later on things started changing drastically. Pro - -their idea was good but not fast selling. - awesome learning as had to do everything by yourself with frequent help from advisors - My colleagues were awesome we formed a bond and thus use to overcome obstacles together. Reculta was blessed with nice tech team. - CEO is mostly respectful to tech guys. - no verbal abuse which is a plus.
Cons
Where do I start - (ascending order of magnitude) - no leave encashment policies - salary delays - poor lunch options and no snacks or tea (no tea even when co-founders ordered for themselves) - co-founders are Pure MBA, zero tech knowledge. They will learn a word from some techie and will throw it around every time you have discussion (latest was "array") . -They will think anything can be done in few hours on the basis of how it looks ignoring the 360 degree thinking approach we developers usually take. Eventually you will have to do what they say ignoring your programming ethics whatsoever. - They don't understand how much work someone is doing and how many things a person is handling. Unless something pings on slack and mentioned on slack, nothing will ever be accounted. Only commits and slack messages are accounted that too only if you go to them and tell them personally of what you have done. - Never trusted any employee as they themselves do shady things with employees. (trust is 2 way street, always). - Politics. CEO himself introduces politics in team(divide and conquer) and not even smart about it, left few loopholes that's how we know. Stop giving equal powers to people without the knowledge of all participants, there will be a power struggle and work will get affected due to clashes. -Asks us not to party together to save his politics secrets spilling out. - Attrition rate is superb, company size reduced from >14-15 to ~5 in 2 months. - CEO asks everyone to trust him when there is an increment or some promotion or regarding future of company but will never give you in written or will apologize when things fail. Words never had meaning. - will ask you to work on, festivals and new years eve too. (get a life or at least let us have some). - Either already out of money or going to be.
