The company owner can be very difficult to work with. Everyday is something new, not in an exciting or good way. Be prepared to start your day getting yelled by the owner at for issues that aren't your problem. She has a superiority complex, nothing is ever her fault and it will always be yours. You are a subordinate to her. She "knows everything" and will constantly tell you that you are wrong or don't know how things work. Decisions are made hastily with little to no consideration to employees and no input from employees. There is a lot of drinking on the job done here at all levels. managers, operations, especially the owner. This leads to an abundance of inappropriate comments and remarks. The drinking also fuels the anger the owner has towards any given thing that day. Everyday is whatever the owner wants. You will not have a voice or a say in anything that you do. Any feedback you provide will be received as criticism towards her. Her goal is control you into doing what she wants. You are expected to be a yes man for everything she wants and says. The owner is out of touch from reality. Under pays employees and does not provide 100% benefit coverage, then flaunts her money and nice possessions in front of everyone.

I wanted to take a moment to address the recent discussions around the topic of the 70's and the comments that were made. While it is great to reminisce about the music and gas prices of that era, it is important to remember that times have changed and so have our workplace policies. I want to remind everyone that we strive to create a positive and inclusive work environment where all individuals feel respected and valued. We understand that everyone has their own personal preferences and opinions, but it is crucial that we all show respect and consideration for each other. We promote a culture of professionalism and respect. What people do outside business hours is up to them, but pursuant to our handbook, we have a policy that addresses this. Given we have had numerous recovering alcoholics work here there is a hgeightened sensitivity to your unfounded comments. After hours, employee outings and junkets people are free to let their hair down and enjoy a good time. Provided we continue to foster a positive and safe workplace culture.

Worked there for less than 9 months and regretted every second of it. Degraded and made to feel inferior almost every day by upper management. When you make a mistake, it's followed up by "Why do we even need you here?!" Company meetings 3 times a day (excessive and micro-managed) with men making sexist and inappropriate comments. Upper Management flaunts their lavish lives in front of everyone's faces. Meanwhile, when employees worked overtime, 9 times out of 10 those hours were denied. It's almost like they expected us to work for free! It's no wonder 3 family members even quit the company! (Red flag). No employee benefits except refurbished laptops that rarely worked well, spotty internet in an office that was too small and not COVID friendly.

The employees are great, owner is not.

Owner has not idea what she is doing and blames employees for things out of their control. Constantly yells at vendors and employees to get what she wants. Lots of turnover across the organization. The most tenured employee is 1-2 years. There is no opportunity for career advancement and no goals to achieve to make the company successful. "Goals" change day by day with no long term vision in mind. Pay is below market average for the Bellevue/Seattle area and health benefits are not 100% paid for by the company. No added commuter benefits because you are expected to live close to the office.
