Pros

Good people in the rank and file, especially outside of engineering. Good place to practice deception. Multiple generations of former engineers have left some interesting artifacts to comb through.

Cons

Engineering management can't stay focused for a single meeting or write a single document, much less develop a product. Blame and shame, gaslighting, selective memory, and lack of communication are standard procedures.
