Pros

General benefits are OK. They currently pay for all insurance if you are single which is rare. Compensation can be good if they are interested in you and you ask for it otherwise you will be underpaid compared to similar roles at other companies.

Cons

When I was brought on board the CEO had a vision for reinventing the company and was diligently bringing on new talent into the company. He has since been removed and the new leadership has either fired or been the cause of other leaders to move on. The main core of the leadership team are sales and marketing so they tell you what you want to hear but their actions don't reflect what they are telling you. Their policies are straight out of the 1950's manufacturing employee hand book.

Pros

A lot of autonomy in your daily work. They listen to you (what they do after listening is another thing entirely)

Cons

HR is a joke here Pay increase is subjective from Sr management that has no idea of your contribution to the company Decisions even minor ones need to run by two people in leadership. Empowerment. is not-existant They talk about work from home but that is a lie. You can work from home in the off hours. Lots of promises made but few are kept Inexperienced leadership. Inexperienced in how to lead and inexperienced in being a software company. Privately held company - thus chairman of the board makes decisions from his east cost home and has no idea what is going on in the real estate industry today.
