What once was a friendly place place to work turned into a very stressful environment.
Pros
The pay is consistent if you're salaried. You get to go around and learn all aspects of the retail industry and feel like what you do matters. You'll usually work with the same people so you can build relationships that should last a long time. Turn over is low in my area.
Cons
Reliant Inventory was Bought out by AICS, which is a money hungry inventory service that will cut out anybody that isn't making them a profit. Not even just a profit, but a big profit. I'm from the original Reliant that, contrary to what the website says, was based out of a trailor in Westerville, Ohio. The people are still here, except for the ones that made the most money. Some of the new rules haven't hit us yet, but we are constantly watching our backs. It's very hard to know that one day you could wake up and they would cut your job out. Also, I have no idea who runs the company anymore. Some anonymous face in Miami.
