Working at a Sharetribe development company has been an incredible experience. The team is supportive and collaborative, which enhances both the learning experience and overall work satisfaction. Management encourages open communication, making it easy to share ideas and work on interesting solutions. Mostly great coworkers, flexible schedule, good benefits (which they since cut, I was grandfathered into their good plan), BBQ's and fun Christmas party.

Cons

Low pay, no advancement or opportunities, everyone is overworked, when people leave they just redistribute the work to already overworked employees. A lot of the things they do is for show. I'd rather have good pay than a BBQ, to be quite honest. There's also no challenge after a while, aside from the massive work load. Their raises are nickles and dimes a year (roughly 2.5-3%... you'll never see $1 raise!) The managers literally *don't* care if you stay or go or if you're unhappy. They are borderline abusive and have told people they're stupid and couldn't go anywhere better if they tried. You can't ask for a raise or something different to do, they'll just tell you you're lucky to have a job. I left and couldn't be happier!
