Pros

Flexible schedule, love their services and as an employee you don't have to pay for them which is a huge pro, good pay

Cons

As a nurse you are the only one working the medical side unlike most healthcare environments you have a team. They say they "train" the "front of house" to help you out with things like taking BP, but at the end of the day they do not understand why 149/90 or 90/50 is not acceptable and needs to be communicated instead of just written down and you end up having to do more work. You are the only person there with medical training. On top of your nursing duties, they don't tell you in the beginning but later expect you to sell ingredients and packages to patients/clients so you have to add on selling to your job which is just not at all the nurse's job. This is a business and they are there to make money so they will pack your schedule as much as possible. This job is pitched as easy going but I've honestly had days equally as busy as the hospital where I did not get to sit down and eat lunch or go to the bathroom until the store closed and had to stay late to chart. I've worked at multiple locations and they've also had multiple locations close due to financial issues. It's either completely dead quiet or packed and 1 nurse can only do so much.

Pros

The ONLY benefit is using the services. But even those aren’t worth it.

Cons

You will never get paid your worth. They throw around money numbers and lots of empty promises. From the day I started there were so many red flags with the owners, and more kept coming. The only thing they care about is revenue, they will never care about you as a human no matter how much blood sweat and tears are spilled, and let me tell you, there will be a lot of them spilled. Like I said, don’t waste your time here.

Pros

I love helping clients come up with game plans to better their health. Corporate medical team has put in good policies and procedures to keep clients safe. They have strict protocols on how to administer services and what clients can get based on medical history. NPs are available for any issues and questions that may arise as for the most part, RNs work alone in studio. The job is really very easy and low stress unless you get a ton of IV walk ins or your schedule is packed. Pay for nurses is location dependent but was extremely good for my studio.

Cons

I wish ownership and management would stay out of the medical clients business. They constantly push medical services that are not a good fit or even downright contraindicated for that person. Obviously I cannot divulge medical history but boy do they come after me when I don’t sell whatever it is they want me to sell to that person. According to them, everyone should get NAD+. It’s always sell sell sell, then upsell some more. Its relentless. There is no upward career growth. Owners can apparently open studios without any required corporate training on how to run the place. No benefits if you need them. Wellness reps frequently carried no health insurance and couldn’t afford it on the marketplace due to low pay. Studio hours are 10-7 on weekdays- not ideal for family life but also not 12 hour shifts.
