- All other perks like spending money on office snacks, the gym, video games, company parties, are used against staff later when they have any legitimate complaints, so I can't put the perks as a pro (e.g. "how can you complain about our culture? We have ViDeO gAmEs!")
- Management are allowed to be direct with feedback (often aggressive as well) but if anyone else is not simperingly sweet while delivering criticism, they're vilified and labeled as hard to work with.
- Few people are allowed to do their job - the executives have a vision for how goals should specifically be accomplished, do not ask for feedback about that vision, and then expect everyone to follow marching orders.
- Lots of dodging different governments (e.g. US, Australia) to make sure websites that are advertising illegal behavior don't get shut down in those regions, and keep making money, which is exhausting.
- HR and management work together to sweep serious complaints (e.g. sexual harassment) under the rug.
