Not the best culture

Pros

Great staff discount% in stores also for your spouse Systems are cool and easy to work with Easy salary advance option Lots of Club card benefits - loved those

Cons

Everyone will have their own experiences in every company but a lot of people have left this company purely because of the culture. The culture is bad, but not in all departments I guess, gossiping is a lifestyle there, buttsucking will get you anywhere and earn you promotions, if your skin is darker and hair freezy then you might not go very far in the company. They have a lot of work to do when it comes to their culture. Salaries of planners are that of allocators in JHB and CPT. No benefits, none or whatsoever. When you resign, they do not pay you for your number of annual leave days but they will deduct from your salary if you owe then days. Micromanagement comes in to play also Management lacks psychological intelligence 70% of the time You cannot trust HR - HR is for the company and not for the people that work in it!
