Pros

Flexible work timings Gym and ping pong table in the office Free Lunch Cab facility retirement paradise If you love playing different outdoor/indoor games, socialise, dine-drink with people at work and don't like your work, you will love this company.

Cons

If you work with this company for more than 2 years, then you will be no fit for market. Obsolete technology. mediocre's place of work. People who should be fired are promoted and become head of other teams Some people get unlimited WFH where as other might not be allowed for more than two days WFH a month Too much favouritism and politics. No respect for hard work and actual good ideas. Person who is good at pretending gets appreciated. People are being fired for no reason known. CSR team whose job is to sell the stuff on each occasion and convert office to a market place.

Reval Response

I want to thank you for your review and for recognizing how important a great work/life balance and culture is for Reval. Reval is made up of highly motivated and extremely talented individuals. The work is fast paced, exciting, innovative and rewarding. While this creates a great environment for very talented people, it is not for everyone. If you are unable to quickly become a significant contributor, you will likely not fit in. Our India office in particular, is a significant contributor and is one of our offices that is expanding under the great local leadership we have in place. Reval is very passionate about giving back to the communities that we work in. If that passion of our local CSR team offended you in any way, please know that their action just reflects how deeply they care about our local communities. If you would like to discuss your current situation, please feel free to reach out to Deepti Achanta at +91 124 71 68251 or me, Henry Janssen +1 212-901-9835.

Pros

- Bit flexibility to work timing and good for Freshers at least a job to start with.

Cons

- Not enough Opportunity for experienced guys in any department in India - Company is still not clear about the vision - Not clear about the development platform (.net, java) - Senior management in NYC is introvert and want to have keep the access with few employees, politics is making things worst and lack of transparency is also sensed, information sharing does not happen. - Since 2 years HR head has become more dynamic and want to just execute what they think is the best. - HR and MD India keep on discussing in their cabins all day long and everyone keep on waiting to talk to MD. - There are policies but senior management don’t apply them for all at least not to themselves - The product has gone so bad/ complex that it is not manageable any more - wasting stakeholders time and money - Environment is not that good which use to be earlier ; also the company is facing financial losses and due to which there is cost cutting but also biased so it may differ from department/person to person. - Deserving are not the rewarding, NYC team wants to take control of everything and due to which you have to keep on attending meeting after office hours and many times impose tasks on you. - They have offices in some countries so they should have every department taking take of work to help every country which is not happening currently - One any one is hired there are number of rounds however once they are said to leave there is no clear reasons.

Pros

I can say with confidence that Reval India is one of the best product based company in Delhi and I can say that with certainty based on comparison from several of my cousins and friends working in other companies. When I tell them about the culture and work of Reval, I clearly see them wanting to join Reval. It has such a great culture and open philosophy coming right from the top - one of the most effective and unique leadership provided by India leadership. The India head himself is a humble and down to earth leader who can inspire people around him to deliver their best.I could not believe how he transpired events like bugathon where people worked tirelessly. People in this company are absolutely awesome and have a desire to grow and prosper. It’s a very young and vibrant company and the energy and level of enthusiasm is contagious. The office is very modern and luxurious, ample of facilities are provided like cab, lunch, fitness sessions etc. The work we do is complex and difficult but gives ample of satisfaction and people love taking challenges. All in all very difficult to find a better company other than Google may be. If you join Reval you will never be able to leave it because it’s impossible to find a better company, better friends, better work culture and overall fun yet commited atmosphere.

Cons

I feel that because most of the employees are young and joined Reval as their first job, they dont realize the importance of continous learning and expect a lot from management. I have seen people cribbing about things/manager for no apparent reason as well. Anyways, I think all of us will benefit from organizing various materials and creating a more structured functional and technical learning programs.
