On the project that I'm currently on, we hardly get overtime.

Well, the company is unfortunately not meeting basic expectations in key areas. Compensation is far below industry standards, which negatively affects morale. Most of the learnership is done alone, with minimal support or guidance. There are no proper workshops, and the trainers sent are often unqualified mainly just asking and answering questions without adding real value. Constructive feedback is rare, and meaningful growth is limited. Promotions seem to be based on favoritism rather than merit. Cultural events and team building activities are mostly reserved for management, which further highlights the disconnect between leadership and staff.
