- Worst work experience ever - worked in +5 different companies so far.
- The opposite of a startup: a small company but old, not growing, in a top-down work environment.
- Main team-working/decision/specification tool: the email... go French Tech go!
- Company mainly surviving thanks to interns, external contractors, workers and tech/products acquisitions.
- Reverso is very small. So you will surely happen to work closely with (for) the founder, which very few people can sustain.
- Work in silo/Isolated. I was often forbidden to contact teammates to "not make them lose time".
- No vision, no strategy. Erratic, irrational decisions. Your day-to-day will consist in managing your manager, prove that 1+1=2 and maintain some kind of continuity despite daily back-and-forths.
- Constant bashing, belittling, condescension, even insults toward your work or yourself. I witnessed so many unacceptable things.
- Overall a very toxic environment, where burnout and mental breakdown are a serious risk if you are invested in what you do, if you don’t have enough professional experience yet, or enough self-confidence in your skills.
