Pros

You will learn a lot very quickly as the learning curve is very high. Some of the programs are interesting and do good work.

Cons

Terrible company culture. Low pay. No pay raises. Heavy workload. Very little training. Terrible health benefits. Very little support from supervisors. A lot of pettiness within the organization. High expectations for low pay. Lots of favoritism/nepotism. Archaic disciplinary and performance review procedures. Most of the c-suite executives are white, when it is an organization that is meant to be fighting institutionalized racism. Certain people in the organization enjoy the benefits of high salaries and regular increases, while everyone else is left to struggle, especially direct care staff.
