Pros
I have been an employee of Roomi for about 2 years now working out of the India office and one thing I can say is Roomi is a very unique company with a management style different than any other company I’ve ever worked for. (In a good way) I love the fact that you can talk to your managers and others in leadership just as they were your equals. There is no hierarchy feeling. Alex and Ajay are both very open to listening to your concerns or issues and fixing them. The environment is very casual and relaxed but everyone is still dedicated to their job and the success of the company. The start-up culture and workplace is a very new thing in India but I think Roomi will be a leader in the industry here as we grow. I already have so many friends asking me about how they can work for Roomi!
Cons
Lots of meetings and time difference between U.S office and India office makes for calls at odd times. Sometimes people in India office don’t have as much of a voice and don’t seem to have their opinions valued as much as those in the U.S office.
